Digital tool “Kails un Kaila” has been created to offer its user the possibility to create a Social story – a learning tool for young people with autism.
The reasons why “Kails un Kaila” was created were:
1. Parents don’t know how to make Social story by themselves.
2. The lack of good quality visual materials.

“Kails un Kaila” has been created as a graduation work at Art Academy of Latvia.
Digital tool “Kails un Kaila” offers to create Social story in two ways:
1.Edit an existing Social story
The user can choose a Social story to customise according to their needs.
2. Create it by yourself using Social story template
Writing Social story content in a template.
Illustration stylistic
The visual elements of illustration library were made respecting specific peculiarities of autistic spectrum perception.
